How can i reserve the lodge or take a complimentary tour?

Do you require a deposit to reserve a date?
Yes. A $500.00 non-refundable deposit is required to reserve your requested date. That amount will be put towards your total package price due. Your first monthly payment will then be due within 30 days after booking. A payment schedule will be sent to you with your contract. You can make payments online and view your payment history and balance at any time.
Do you require a security deposit?
Yes. A $1,000.00 refundable security deposit is due with your final payment, 10 days prior to your event. Upon inspection of the property, refunds will be given within 7 days proceeding your event, should no damage be found or additional cleaning be needed.
do you have a kitchen?
Yes. Use of our restaurant quality kitchen and equipment is available to commercial caterers only. Food prep area, refrigerator, cake storage and storage freezer are available to everyone. We do not offer in-house catering.
What is your maximum capacity for events?
The maximum capacity for the Lodge varies by table selection and table arrangement. We offer square and round wooden farmhouse tables that can be used and arranged however you would like, inside and outside of the venue, weather permitting. Utilizing all square tables inside of the venue allows for a max capacity of about 100 people comfortably for a sit down dinner. Utilizing all round tables inside of the venue allows for a max capacity of about 120 people comfortably for a sit down dinner. Utilizing the inside of the venue and the outdoor deck and lawn area with square and/or round tables allows for a max capacity of about 150 people for a sit down dinner comfortably.
How long is the venue rental?
Rental times vary depending on the type of event.
Can guests stay past 11:00pm?
No. If the reserved time allotted is not followed, you will forfeit your $1,000.00 security deposit.
Can I bring and/or serve alcohol?
Yes, but it has to be served by someone with a State of Alaska Alcohol Serving License.
Do you require event insurance?
Yes. Event insurance is required with coverage for at least $1,000.00. Plans can be purchased online and start as low as $50.00.
Do you have an area where the bridal party can get ready prior to the wedding?
Yes! We highly recommend the Bride and Bridesmaids get ready in our beautiful Bridal Suite, and the Groom and Groomsmen can get ready in one of our themed cabins. The Bridal Suite is $250.00 per night or may be included in your package price. Cabin prices vary by the season. Please see our Lodging Page for further information.
Do you allow smoking?
Smoking inside of the lodge or any of our cabins is strictly prohibited. Smoking outside the venue is permitted. We ask that you please dispose of your cigarette butts inside of a trash can and not the ground or lawn.
can we have our ceremony and reception at the venue?
Yes! Use of The Lodge, the outdoor deck area, and the lawn is included with every package. You can hold the ceremony and/or reception however you please.
CAN WE HAVE A REHEARSAL THE DAY BEFORE THE WEDDING?
Guests reserving The Lodge over night will be permitted use of the property to hold a rehearsal and rehearsal dinner the night prior to their wedding day. Guests renting The Lodge for a same-day wedding can reserve The Lodge the night prior for an additional fee.
Do you rent the lodge out for photoshoots?
Yes. The Lodge can be rented for photography sessions starting at $100 per hour with a 3 hour minimum and a $500.00 maximum.
do you recommend any vendors?
We have a list of vendors that we have worked with in the past and can suggest, however you are not required to use them. Everyone is welcome at The Lodge!
